I definitely recommend Austrian artist Erwin Wurm’s exhibition at Lenbachhaus in Munich. Still on show until 31st of january 2010. My personal highlight was the amazing cucumber.

Yippie! I’m very happy to announce, that I’ve been nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany (Designpreis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland) as a newcomer.

If you happen to visit Nürnberg in these days, you can see one of my drawings in the group exhibition “Out of Office” at the gallery “Das Artelier”. 20 creatives who work at “the 3-stripes company” are showing their artworks from 5th to 13th of september 2009. View my contributed drawing on Flickr.

I had a really good time at the opening for the The Keld show at Nice/Nice Gallery in Hannover. You shouldn’t miss that show of the danish illustrator when you’re in the area. See pics of the opening party on Nice/Nice’s Flickr.

I’ll present my works this friday at the YDMI Days 2009 in Frankfurt. The event held by the German Design Council will determine the “Young Professional 09″ from 20 designers presenting. Would be great to see you there!

The designers at Nepomuk from Berlin have a lot of fun stuff in their portfolio. At the moment they’re showing that “stuff” at Nice/Nice Exhibition Space in Hannover, Germany.

As a big fan of the british illustrator Von I would strongly recommend to visit his “Cocoon” exhibition at Electric Blue Gallery on show in London from May 8th to July 7th.

I will participate in the Threesome group show at Nice/Nice Exhibition Space in Hannover, Germany. The opening is on april 18th and the exhibition is on show until june 3rd. The event is presented by Art Bastard and will feature street inspired works by international artists.

If you’re in Berlin, make sure to drop by A trans Pavilion at Hack’sche Höfe. The austrian architects Donat Aurel Grissemann and Simon Oberhammer are showing their installation “Tiroler Gespinst” which features an impressive woven house. On show until 18th of October.

I just came back from Amsterdam where I took part in the Custom Kicks event. After releasing the Custom Kicks book, Maki from Holland organized this live customization event on Spui square. It was great fun drawing on sneakers! Check out some pictures on my Flickr site!

This is so good! Dvein from Barcelona created an impressive trailer for the Toca Me Design Conference in Munich. It includes typedesigns by Alex Trochut which are brilliant as well.
